Selected for Jackalope Theater's Playwrights Lab

As a member of the Jackalope Playwrights Lab, LC is working on a jazz based musical that toggles back and forth between the 1930s and today, following the struggle of a Depression era bath attendant in Chicago Public Schools who gets approached to model for the then-radical , now-racist exhibit “Races of Mankind”, a huge hit at the Field Museum in 1933 and restored in 2016.
